This course is designed toward developing a quality
training evolution that allows the student to
internalize the techniques to allow for safe self
practice. This is an active shooting course of fire
and not a classroom lecture. The student will be
learning to shoot to live in a worst case scenario.
This will not be target practice.
Students will learn basic ballistics, bullet configuration, and how to battle sight the carbine at 25 meters. Carbine accessories such as slings, sights, and optics will be discussed. The importance of having a white light source on the carbine for target identification will be explained.
Techniques that will be practiced are: proper loading, unloading, and the press check. Other topics covered will be shooting positions, dismounted shooting, malfunction drills, moving & shooting, and position shooting.

Course requirements
Requirements for course enrollment will be a valid
concealed carry permit or handgun purchase permit
and a valid form of identification (i.e. state
drivers license, passport, military ID).
Class size limited to 10 with 2 instructors. Cost
$100.00
Properly functioning carbine, at least three full
capacity magazines, magazine carrier, sling,
gloves, and a minimum of 600 rounds of ammo.
Please have carbines sighted-in before attending the course.
Acceptable types of carbines may include ARs, AKs, SKSs, M1s, Mini-14s, FN/FALs, HKs, or any self-loading magazine fed rifle.
